Climate Change Deception.

I have always been one of these nasty Climate Change sceptics. It would now seem that I was correct in my assumption that we were being taken for fools.

The University of East Anglia Climate Research Unit has been hacked and many files have been released by the hacker or person unknown.
You can find the emails at various sites on the web.

It is an interesting read.

Harman Faces Prosecution

Labour deputy leader Harriet Harman is to be prosecuted over a minor car accident in her south London
constituency in July.

She faces prosecution for allegedly driving without due care and attention and driving while using a mobile phone.

The Crown Prosecution Service has said there is sufficient evidence and it is in the public interest to prosecute.

A spokeswoman for Ms Harman said she "strongly refutes the allegations and will deny the charges".

FMQ,s

FMQ,s 19th November 2008.

Alex Salmond made a bit of a gaff when he found out that Willie Bain was in the gallery and made a gag about Willie Bain seeking a “dual mandate” with his appearance at Holyrood.

Sometimes it is better to have a good look in the mirror first.

However I liked Salmonds joke about Gordon Browns claim to have destroyed Boom and Bust, well Boom anyway.

I felt myself cringing every time Iain Gray made the charge that Alex Salmond was loosing it. It just didn’t sound write somehow.

As usual Salmond wiped the floor and made a good performance, apart from his gaff about a dual mandate.

It’s a pity that none of the opposition leaders can match Salmond and bring him to task.

6 MP's and Peers Face Jail Term

The Daily Telegraph understands that detectives will imminently pass files on Labour MPs Elliot Morley, David Chaytor and Jim Devine, and peers Baroness Uddin, Lord Hanningfield and Lord Clarke of Hampstead to the Crown Prosecution Service.

Keir Starmer, the country’s top prosecutor, is expected to make a decision on whether to prosecute the politicians as early as January, before a General Election.

The Director of Public Prosecutions will decide whether the MPs and peers face court on counts of fraud, which carries a maximum sentence on conviction of 10 years, or false accounting, for which the maximum penalty is up to seven years.

Police and criminal lawyers are confident that charges will be brought.

It’s good to see some of the worst troughers may be facing a long jail term if they ever get to court.

I am not fully convinced that all the cases will get by the crown Prosecution Service.

Legislation should have been included in the Queens speech yesterday to tidy up parliament and stop this sort of scandal from happening again.

Once again Gordon Brown has failed this Country.
