FMQ,s

FMQ,s 19th November 2008.

Alex Salmond made a bit of a gaff when he found out that Willie Bain was in the gallery and made a gag about Willie Bain seeking a “dual mandate” with his appearance at Holyrood.

Sometimes it is better to have a good look in the mirror first.

However I liked Salmonds joke about Gordon Browns claim to have destroyed Boom and Bust, well Boom anyway.

I felt myself cringing every time Iain Gray made the charge that Alex Salmond was loosing it. It just didn’t sound write somehow.

As usual Salmond wiped the floor and made a good performance, apart from his gaff about a dual mandate.

It’s a pity that none of the opposition leaders can match Salmond and bring him to task.
